The Open Government Partnership (OGP) provides government and civil society reformers an opportunity to make governments more transparent, participatory, and accountable. Working together, government and civil society in 78 countries and several local members cocreate two-year action plans with concrete commitments across a variety of sectors. The first section features two commitments that fall within each of the eight focus policy areas included in OGP’s current three-year strategy: Beneficial Ownership Transparency, Civic Space, Gender and Inclusion, Political Integrity, Justice, Open Contracting, Public Service Delivery, and Digital Governance. The second section highlights a commitment to watch from each action plan. These commitments showcase the breadth of public policy challenges that OGP members are currently tackling and can inspire future cocreation processes. Read more here.
