The Council is the highest governance body of the BCSDN and is composed of one authorized representative of each organization with member status.  It meets at least once annually to discuss the management and strategy of the work of the BCSDN.  Each session of the Council is chaired by the Chairperson of the Council, which is selected on an annual, rotating basis.
