E-mail Print PDF

BCSDN and Pontis Foundation closed the application procedure for the Public Policy Fund on the 1st of December. 113 applications were received from Albania (26 CSOs and 10 individual applications), Macedonia (48 CSOs and 7 individuals) and Montenegro (21 CSOs and 1 individual application). The total budget of all applications received is EUR 506.653 and in the first round of call for proposals the sum of EUR 42.000 will be re-granted which means only 8% of the applications will be successful. The number of applications and their quality made the partners aware of the necessity of this programme therefore a possibility for a second call could be presented in the first quarter of 2012 that might be extended to other countries in the region. Currently the evaluation board is processing the applications and the successful projects will be announced on the 16th of January 2012.
