E-mail Print PDF

The German NGO CRISP active in the field of conflict-transformation in the Western Balkans and in the South-Caucasus will offer several workshops in the Western Balkans and a seminar in Skopje. All of the events are based on the active-learning method of simulation-gaming. This year the focus is on an analysis of civil-society in the region, managed by civil-society-actors themselves. During the simulation-games participants slip into the role of one regional stakeholder. They adopt a central function in the simulated scenario. Together with other participants from the region they are going to simulate a realistic scenario that tackles day-to-day issues of civil-society-work. The aim is to try to safeguard the interests of the actor. They will have to argue and negotiate with and against other actors in order to ensure a more favorable development of the simulation for themselves. Build strategic alliances and organize majorities for the objectives. By participating in the simulation you can get both, an additional understanding of the causes of problems and difficulties of civil-society-work and based on this an active exchange of ideas among the participants how to deal with them and what could be adequate problem-solving-strategies. All  members of or associated to a NGO, volunteers, free trainers and other activists, interested in challenges of civil society in the region, looking for closer cooperation and exchange with other civil society actor in the region, interested in tackling common problems in civil society work and who are open-minded about innovative and non-formal education tools,  are invited to apply. Please find further information here. Participation in the seminar in Skopje requires participation in one workshop! (Belgrade - 14th September, Skopje - 17th September, Prishtina - 20rd September, Sarajevo - 24th September).
