CfA: Gender Inequalities Among Vulnerable Groups – 10-12 May, Maastricht (Deadline: N/A)

Women and girls represent half of the world’s 7.6 billion of population and, therefore, also half of its potential. Gender equality, besides being a fundamental human right, is essential to achieve peaceful societies, with full human potential and sustainable development. Moreover, it has been shown that empowering women spurs productivity and economic growth. This 3-day training will employ a systemic conflict analysis of gender inequality using practical conflict analysis tools. It aims to develop the skills and competences of those who are active in aid organisations and ensure that they acquire an adequate preparation to analyse conflicts and choose the most adequate intervention strategies to tackle gender inequalities.
