Catalyst Balkans delivered infographics, presenting data for helping prevent the consequences from COVID-19, as well as people’s reactions in the past 12 months. In terms of the value of donations, from the beginning of the crisis to 31 March 2021, Catalyst processed data on 5,832 philanthropic instances in the Western Balkans and registered the total amount of 70,253,602 EUR in donations. Most of the donations, in all WB countries are for purchasing consumer goods, such as masks, gloves, and disinfectants. In Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, and North Macedonia, local and national governments received the largest support, while in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, institutions were the most supported recipients of donations. In Kosovo, the largest amount was directed towards individuals and families.
