BCSDN has been selected through an open call for proposals and engaged within EU TACSO 3 project framework to conduct the Needs Assessment on the State of the Enabling Environment and Capacities of Civil Society of the Western Balkan and Turkey. During October and November, BCSDN members (Civic Initiatives, CPCD, CRNVO, KCSF, MCIC and Partners Albania) conducted the in-country data-gathering and analysis. National consultation and validation meetings, organized by the EU TACSO 3 in partnership with the EU Delegations and the National Resource Centers, are taking place in the WB capitals during December. In Sarajevo and Podgorica the sessions were held on 10 and 13 December, respectively, and following are the consultations in Belgrade (16.12), Prishtina (18.12) and Tirana (January 2020, TBC). With these meetings, the EU TACSO 3 wants to receive feedback and inputs to ensure validation of the assessment results and design its programme for civil society in a participatory manner.
