The research analyzes the progress of the Western Balkans countries towards implementing their commitments since the WB Summits in London and Poznań, as part of the Berlin Process. Findings show that the Berlin Process has succeeded in redirecting the EU’s focus back on the WB6 and starting a high-level dialogue on equal terms between EU-WB6 leaders, revitalizing the Region’s declining interest in EU integration. The research presents the Region in a stable position on the EU infrastructure map, united regional civil society, and an ordinary citizen and youth’s role in promoting dialogue and social change. As emphasized within the 2020 Zagreb Summit proceedings, reconciliation and transitional justice are raised back on the table as a matter of regional and international importance. Read more here.
