The National Foundation for Civil Society Development from September to December last year carried out a consultation with interested CSOs representatives and others in order to assess the current implementation of the Action Strategy of the Foundation for the period 2008-2011 and propose new strategic goals and improvements for the next four-year period. The consultations were conducted electronically and direct regional meetings with representatives of civil society organizations were held in Rijeka, Osijek, Split and Zagreb. National Foundation has been recognized in civil society sector as the first public donor who led the financing of institutional support which allowed greater employability in the organizations of civil society and keeping the experts in these organizations, it has a proven effectiveness that should continue to work to find appropriate forms of support to civil society development in Croatia.
