The multifaceted structure of society in the Balkans is especially rich. But in the last two decades, this has expressed itself in terms of highlighting differences and not diversity as a positive value and characteristic of societies. Thus, promotion of multiculturalism and inter-cultural dialogue is key to promotion of positive values and affirmation of the role of CSOs through the support to status and problems of the most marginalized and vulnerable groups.
