The calamity caused by the COVID 19 is an opportunity to be traced to new ways of working, that put accountability practices and decentralized organization at their heart. Dynamic accountability is about engendering the “what has been” into the “what could be” regarding meaningful engagement. It is an internal motivation that pushes organizations beyond minimum expectations and towards setting new standards, as well as ambitious stretch goals for inclusive and participatory development. The Accountability Lab team recognizes that accountability is a process rather than an outcome and that dynamic accountability in times of disruption means shifting power by sharing knowledge.
