BCSDN and its members from the Western Balkans and Turkey gathered in Berlin for the Monitoring Matrix Revision Workshop from 27-29 March. The workshop aimed to analyze ten years of Monitoring Matrix (MM) implementation, reflect on key challenges and identify areas for improvement. Participants also tested the new MM website, which presents the comprehensive tool and research findings in a more user-friendly way. One of the key outcomes was the agreement on next steps and a plan for MM implementation for 2023, which includes modifications in the data collection methods and the development of surveys that should be available to CSOs throughout the year. The workshop was an important step in ensuring that the MM tool remains relevant and effective in supporting civil society development in the region, and BCSDN members will continue to work on the revision process in the coming period to further improve the tool and its impact on the civil society sector..
