BCSDN Empowers Civil Society in the EU Accession Process and Beyond

BCSDN has been actively advocating for civil society empowerment in the Western Balkans and the EU through various initiatives in Brussels. In March 2023, BCSDN participated in the Civil Society Days 2023 organized by the European Economic and Social Committee to showcase their work in promoting civil society and citizen participation in the region while also learning from other civil society organizations. BCSDN also organized a workshop with the EU DG NEAR to explore the role of transformative civil society power in EU accession processes and strengthen CSO’s capacity to advocate for more democratic and inclusive reforms in the region. Additionally, BCSDN has been actively advocating for civil society empowerment in the EU, including in the European Parliament, to promote a more democratic and inclusive Europe.
