CRNVO and BCSDN are pleased to present the fifth edition of the 2019 MM Report on Enabling Environment for CSDev for Montenegro. According to the findings, there are still many obstacles in the work of CSOs. There is no Register on CSOs updated regularly; Current fiscal policies provide enough incentives for work of CSOs, individuals and corporations; There are no diverse funds to fulfill the needs of CSOs; Current legislation on service provision of CSOs does not contain any closer information on this area, as there is no unified law. On the other hand, the Council for the Cooperation of CSOs and the Government results in a better dialogue between the sectors. The Report is part of the activities of the Project “Protecting Civic Space – Regional Civil Society Development Hub”, financed by SIDA and implemented by BCSDN in cooperation with its members in the Western Balkans. The report follows the upgraded Monitoring Matrix methodology implemented by BCSDN Western Balkan members. Read more about the findings and the recommendations here.
