The Turkish authorities have ended the imposed “State of emergency”, after two years marred by continuous human rights violations committed under its authority. Amnesty International has launched a petition calling on the new Turkish government to put human rights back on the agenda. The petition lists five concrete steps the government should undertake to make sure human rights are upheld in Turkey. You can read more and sign the petition here to show that the world is watching.
