Organizations gathered around the “Three Freedoms” Platform have expressed their concerns over the criminal prosecution of Youth Student Action`s activists and the “double standards” in the reaction of the authorities, while also noting that their protest is a direct consequence of deafening the institutions to the problems of citizens and preventing them from influencing decisions that affect them. Namely, OSA`s activists are underway for the criminal offense of Violent Behavior, for which a prison sentence of up to five years is threatened. They are charged because they interrupted the session of the city commission at which the General Urban Plan of Novi Sad has been discussed, by stretching a banner and lighting pyrotechnic devices.
