The Swedish government adopted a new seven-year strategy for reform cooperation between Sweden and the Western Balkans and Turkey. The ongoing cooperation with the countries of the region aims to strengthen the conditions for democratic and inclusive development. The strategic document foresees enhancing the cooperation within the Western Balkans countries, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro. The strategy for reform cooperation is adopted by the Swedish government and will be implemented by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency – SIDA, the Swedish Institute, “Folke Bernadotte” Academy and the Swedish Consulate General in Istanbul.
